Lapis Lazuli and Sterling Silver earrings
The deep blue color of Lapis Lazuli has entranced people for eons. In the Renaissance and Baroque periods, it was ground into a powder to produce the most expensive (at the time) blue pigment for painting. In Egypt, the golden sarcophagus of King Tutankhamen was inlaid with Lapis. It is said to be associated with self-confidence, honesty, openness and inner peace.
